I have been restoring clocks of all types for well over 20 years, spring and weight driven mainly. A few years ago I happened across electric clocks, Master Clock Systems in perticular, which is where my main interests are now.
Having restored a few of these wonderful old clocks and made many parts for them, including complete pendulums, which often get lost when they are taken down after years of faithfull service.
I thought there might be others out there who like me, love restoring these clocks, but perhaps are not as fortunate in being able to make the required parts, so the clock can be put back to wokring oder and even run some slave clocks, as they were designed to.
I hope on building this web site, that other collectors like myself, can look through the pages to find that all important part, being it as humble as a replacemnet suspension, get their clock working again. If you don't see what your looking for, please email me as I will probably be able to help.
I also restore these clocks, and carry out servicing on installations of which there are still a few around, plus turret clocks of all types, including the famous Waiting Train movements made by Gents of Leicester.
What ever your needs do please contact me and if I can help I will be pleased to do so.
Also as well as parts being offered, I hope to expand the information sections, at present this being the Gents and Synchronome Info links on the main menu. With more information to these two links and adding more links, about other manufacturers as time and information coming available. So biulding a valuable library for all to enjoy and learn from.
Happy collecting.
All the best,
Ian.
